You can find these misplaced files at C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.MSO. However, the complication does not end there. Word completely discards the original document title. Consequently, the application generates a completely random name for the new PDF file.
Temporary Solutions and Workarounds
Fortunately, Microsoft offers two practical workarounds. First, users can bypass the error using the standard print menu. You simply choose the “Print to PDF” option instead of saving. This alternative method functions perfectly right now.
Rolling Back the Update
Alternatively, users can revert their software version entirely. You must roll back Microsoft 365 to Version 2608. Specifically, you need build number 20326.20072 to restore normal functionality. Ultimately, these temporary fixes will help until developers release an official patch.
