Introducing Next-Generation Audio Technology

ElevenLabs officially launched two brand-new voice models on Monday. These innovative technologies are ElevenLabs v4 and v4 Turbo. Furthermore, the upgraded models significantly enhance emotional expression control. They also dramatically reduce response latency for interactive voice agents. Meanwhile, they now seamlessly support over 90 distinct languages globally.

The company previously released its v3 model last year. Subsequently, they previewed the next-generation technology during a recent event in Warsaw. The ElevenLabs v4 series utilizes an entirely new architectural framework. Consequently, it achieves vastly superior voice modulation and accelerated sound cloning. Official representatives stated that users only need 10 seconds of audio material. After that, they can instantly accomplish flawless voice cloning.

Mastering Content Creation and Context

Regarding content creation, the new models excel at reading lengthy texts. Specifically, they brilliantly preserve the unique vocal characteristics of the speaker throughout the entire narration. Moreover, the intelligent system actively remembers the surrounding contextual nuances. Therefore, it automatically adjusts its tone to match the evolving narrative. ElevenLabs previously introduced inline tags within the v3 iteration. These specific tags helped establish distinct vocal emotions.

Enhanced Emotion Tagging

Now, the v4 upgrade drastically expands this tagging functionality. Users can easily stack multiple emotional tags together. The intelligent model then executes these complex commands in sequential order. Previously, the older models supported 70 languages. However, extensive optimization elevates the new version to 90 supported languages. The ambitious startup claims remarkable improvements in specific dialects. Namely, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Mandarin, and Cantonese synthesize with exceptionally enhanced quality.

Expanding Enterprise Business Solutions

Over the past year, ElevenLabs rapidly expanded its enterprise voice calling division. Currently, large corporations generate more than 55 percent of their total business revenue. Officials proudly highlight that the new models perfectly suit voice agent environments. Specifically, reduced latency facilitates a remarkably fluid conversational experience.

Synchronized Audio Generation

In addition, the v4 framework synchronizes audio generation instantaneously. It begins speaking the precise moment the backend large language model starts generating answers. Furthermore, the sophisticated system handles confrontational dialogues, customer escalations, and hold times dynamically. Consequently, it resolves complex business communication challenges with remarkable grace.

Financial Growth and IPO Trajectory

Earlier this year, ElevenLabs secured 500 million dollars in funding from Sequoia Capital. This substantial investment propelled their post-money valuation to an astounding 11 billion dollars. Currently, prominent rumors suggest the company is actively preparing a new financing round. This upcoming endeavor targets a breathtaking 22 billion dollar corporate valuation. Meanwhile, the annualized revenue run rate of the enterprise continues to climb. It soared from approximately 330 million dollars earlier this year to well over 600 million dollars.

Global Expansion and Future Plans

Additionally, the corporation is aggressively recruiting across multiple global markets. These regions include India, Europe, and Brazil. As a result, their total employee count has now surpassed 800 dedicated professionals. TechCrunch recently interviewed Mati Staniszewski, the visionary co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. During this exchange, he revealed that the company plans to finalize its IPO within the next few years. However, he deliberately refrained from providing an exact timeline for this momentous public listing.
