Specifically, the $200 monthly ChatGPT Pro subscriptions welcome new users tomorrow. He also revealed major adjustments to the usage calculation method.
Under the updated rules, the equivalent API value nearly doubles. Furthermore, OpenAI will not reinstate the strict five-hour usage limit. Instead, they will solely maintain weekly quota management. This intelligent change allows users to concentrate their quota usage when necessary. Consequently, professionals will no longer suffer restrictions from short time windows.
Past Computing Power Struggles
Earlier this year on September 11, OpenAI officially suspended new user registrations. This sudden suspension occurred because of a massive surge in computing power demand.
