Nanya Technology Raises DRAM Contract Prices by Up to 20 Percent

According to reports from the Economic Daily in Taiwan, industry sources indicate that Nanya Technology has begun notifying clients regarding another upcoming price adjustment. Specifically, the company is raising DRAM contract prices by up to 20 percent, adding further momentum to the ongoing memory market rally.

When questioned about the pricing updates, Nanya Technology declined to comment on specific client negotiations. However, financial analysts remain highly optimistic. As detailed in recent market analyses such as the DRAM market pricing and revenue report, this latest wave of price adjustments is expected to steadily enhance average selling prices and profitability, driving robust operational growth.

Market Dynamics and TrendForce Insights

Market research firm TrendForce reports that major manufacturers continue prioritizing advanced process capacity for high-performance server products. Consequently, the DRAM market will likely remain in a state of supply deficit throughout the fourth quarter.

TrendForce estimates that conventional DRAM contract prices will experience a quarter-over-quarter increase of 10 to 15 percent. Meanwhile, consumer DRAM prices will continue climbing due to ongoing production cuts by major suppliers.

Impressive Financial Growth

Amidst the soaring memory market, Nanya Technology has recorded consecutive monthly revenue highs throughout the year. September consolidated revenue reached NT$45.09 billion, marking the eleventh straight month of record-breaking monthly performance. This figure represents nearly triple the revenue recorded in January and a staggering 576.62 percent surge compared to the same period last year.

Furthermore, Nanya Technology reported a record-breaking third-quarter consolidated revenue of NT$133.65 billion, representing a 61.9 percent sequential increase and a 611.7 percent year-over-year jump. For the first three quarters of the year, cumulative consolidated revenue hit NT$265.29 billion, setting a historic high for the period with a massive 626.95 percent annual growth rate.
