A new leak offers an early look at the iPhone 20 Pro. Photos of a tempered glass protector for the phone have surfaced on Weibo. Moreover, the glass hints at a bold new design for Apple’s next flagship.
Leaker raihanhan later shared the images on X. According to the post, the iPhone 20 Pro series adopts a quad-curved design with an all-glass build.
What the Leaked Glass Shows
The protector curves down on all four edges. In other words, the screen appears to bend on every side. This points to a quad-curved display, a first for any iPhone.
Also, the glass has two cutouts near the top. One is a solid pill shape, and the other is a small ring. Together, they likely mark the front camera and Face ID sensors. As a result, the Dynamic Island may look smaller and sit closer to the top edge.
An All-Glass iPhone for a Big Milestone
The all-glass build fits the moment well. Apple launched the first iPhone in 2007, so 2027 marks its 20th anniversary. For that reason, many fans expect Apple to deliver something special.
Earlier reports from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also pointed to a mostly glass, curved iPhone for 2027. In addition, some fans believe Apple may skip the iPhone 19 name. Instead, the company could jump straight to iPhone 20 to mark the milestone.
Rumored Screen Sizes
A set of concept renders gives a feel for the new look. In these images, the iPhone 20 Pro has a 6.4-inch screen. Meanwhile, the iPhone 20 Pro Max steps up to 7.0 inches.
However, these renders are fan concepts, not official images. Therefore, the final sizes may change before launch.
Why a Quad-Curved Screen Matters
A quad-curved screen could make the phone feel almost borderless. The display would flow over each edge with no flat frame in view. For users, that means more screen in a body of the same size.
Still, curved glass brings tradeoffs. For example, it can cause accidental touches near the edges. It can also make cases and screen protectors harder to fit. That is why a leaked protector like this one draws so much attention.
Take This Leak With Caution
Accessory makers often get early design files from supply chain sources. As a result, their leaks can be quite accurate. Even so, Apple has not confirmed any of these details yet.
The launch is still about a year away. In the meantime, more leaks will likely fill in the gaps. For now, the iPhone 20 Pro looks set to become one of the boldest iPhone redesigns in years.
