Massive Google Pixel 12 Leak Reveals New Displays
Technology media outlet ovrplus recently published a compelling report. Specifically, investigators mined the GSMA IMEI database to uncover fascinating new devices. Their exclusive massive Google Pixel 12 series leak reveals display improvements alongside official model numbers. Consequently, the tech community now knows that Google is developing four distinct smartphones. These devices include the standard Pixel 12 and the Pixel 12 Pro. Additionally, the lineup features the Pixel 12 Pro XL and the innovative Pixel 12 Pro Fold.
Leaked Registration Codes and Resolutions
The detailed report highlighted the specific registration codes for these upcoming gadgets. Furthermore, it provided precise screen resolution specifications for each model.
- Pixel 12: Model GC0QU features a 1080 by 2424 resolution.
- Pixel 12 Pro: Model GWU59 delivers a 1280 by 2824 resolution.
- Pixel 12 Pro XL: Model G7U1Y boasts a 1344 by 2952 resolution.
- Pixel 12 Pro Fold: Model G4D5D presents an expansive 2296 by 2404 inner screen resolution.
Significant Upgrades for the Foldable Model
Notably, the inner screen of the Google Pixel 12 Pro Fold represents a massive leap forward. Its resolution jumps to 2296 by 2404 pixels. This marks a substantial enhancement compared to the older 2076 by 2152 resolution found on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Therefore, this strategic upgrade dramatically boosts pixel density and overall visual finesse. Higher resolutions translate directly into crisper text and much sharper images. Users will definitely appreciate this clarity during demanding split-screen multitasking scenarios.
Comparing Pixel 11 and Pixel 12 Displays
Meanwhile, the traditional slab phones show only minor dimensional adjustments. The standard Pixel 12 loses 24 vertical pixels compared to its predecessor. Similarly, the Pro model drops 32 vertical pixels, remaining fundamentally unchanged. The larger Pro XL version also sheds 40 vertical pixels. However, the foldable inner screen gains 220 horizontal pixels and 252 vertical pixels. Indeed, this represents an impressive display increase of nearly 10.6 percent.
Currently, the exposed database entries do not provide any further hardware specifications. Nevertheless, industry experts confidently predict that Google will officially launch the highly anticipated Pixel 12 series in August 2027.
