Samsung Galaxy S27 Series: AMOLED Screen Mass Production Begins
Production Kicks Off This Month
South Korean media outlet ZDNet recently reported exciting news. Samsung Display will commence mass production of AMOLED screens for the Galaxy S27 series this month. Specifically, the technology giant is gearing up for Galaxy S27 AMOLED mass production to meet upcoming market demands.
Four Distinct Models Revealed
Industry experts anticipate the new Galaxy S27 lineup will feature four distinct models. First, the standard Galaxy S27 offers a 6.27-inch display. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S27+ boasts a 6.66-inch screen. Furthermore, a brand new addition emerges as the 6.47-inch Galaxy S27 Pro. Finally, the flagship Galaxy S27 Ultra commands attention with a massive 6.89-inch screen.
Increased Production Targets
Foreign media sources indicate that Samsung Display will manufacture significantly more panels for this generation. This surge directly results from the introduction of the new Galaxy S27 Pro model. Consequently, the company set an ambitious shipping target of 47 to 48 million units for this year. This volume represents an approximate 10 percent increase compared to the previous Galaxy S26 series. For reference, the earlier series aimed for shipping volumes merely in the low 40 million range.
Innovative Privacy Features
Current leaks suggest the official launch of the Galaxy S27 series will occur in early 2027. Notably, both the Pro and Ultra models will proudly incorporate an advanced Privacy Display function. This clever feature effectively restricts the side viewing angle of the screen. As a result, it significantly minimizes the risk of bystanders snooping on private content.
Awaiting Official Confirmation
Presently, most information regarding the Galaxy S27 series originates from supply chain whispers and unofficial leaks. Samsung has not yet announced the official specifications or the exact release schedule. Therefore, enthusiasts must patiently await formal confirmation from the manufacturer before drawing final conclusions.
