Apple Hiring an iCup Supply Specialist
Apple recently published a rather unique job posting. Specifically, the technology giant is currently hiring a dedicated iCup Supply Specialist. This specialized role primarily ensures that all corporate employees can enjoy freshly brewed coffee inside various break rooms.
Driving Between Office Locations
According to the official job description, the new employee must drive between multiple campuses. Consequently, they will actively oversee up to 90 fully automatic bean-to-cup coffee machines. Furthermore, specific daily duties involve sanitizing and cleaning the advanced equipment thoroughly.
Managing Coffee Machine Operations
Additionally, the supply specialist must consistently restock fresh coffee beans and other essential supplies. Therefore, they bear full responsibility for managing the daily operations of these vital machines. Ultimately, this ensures a constant supply of high-quality beverages for the entire workforce.
The History of the iCup Title
Interestingly, this is not the first time Apple has utilized the iCup job title. Essentially, this term serves as a clever internal nickname for their corporate baristas. In fact, this quirky designation dates back to at least 2014. Back then, the renowned iPhone maker actively recruited skilled technicians specifically to maintain its vast network of iCup coffee equipment.
