Apple Tests Redesigned Apple Music Logo in Recent Betas
Technology outlet 9to5Mac published a fascinating report today. Specifically, Apple is actively testing a fresh aesthetic for its audio streaming service. The technology giant included a redesigned Apple Music logo in recent software updates. Consequently, users can spot this modern emblem within the third developer beta of iOS 27.2 and macOS 27.2.
Unveiling the Modern Typographic Design
The company initially revealed this visual transformation last month. During September 2026, Apple proudly announced the grand opening of the Apple Music Hall. At that memorable event, executives gave enthusiasts their first glimpse of the updated branding.
Recently, keen software explorers uncovered the asset hidden deep within the latest system files. For instance, developer Aaron Perris successfully spotted the revised emblem inside the iOS 27.2 Beta 3 environment. Furthermore, fellow developer @avstorm confirmed a similar discovery while examining the macOS 27.2 Beta 3 release.
Analyzing the Bold Aesthetic Changes
Regarding specific stylistic adjustments, the creative team implemented notable typographic enhancements. First, the designers significantly thickened the primary font weight. Second, the striking new Apple Music logo adopts a completely lowercase layout. Therefore, this bold lowercase approach creates a decidedly contemporary and approachable visual identity.
