IT Home reported on September 29 about an exciting hardware leak. Technology publication WinFuture recently published a blog post sharing intriguing promotional images. These leaked pictures successfully reveal the highly anticipated 2026 Fire TV Stick.
A Boxy New Design Aesthetic
According to these newly exposed promotional materials, the 2026 model completely abandons the smooth curves of its predecessor. Instead, the external casing adopts a noticeably more square, compact, and box-like appearance. Therefore, it looks quite different from earlier versions.
Compact Hardware Changes
This powerful streaming device still connects directly into the HDMI port of your television. However, the overall physical volume is slightly smaller than the previous generation. This miniaturization makes it easier to hide behind wall-mounted screens.
Upgraded Remote Control Features
The accompanying remote control also features several significant design modifications. Its top section transitions from a traditional curved profile to a completely flat surface. Furthermore, designers deliberately relocated the dedicated Alexa voice button to the upper right corner.
New Buttons and Shortcuts
Additionally, they added a brand-new animated, backlit Home button. This innovative button visually displays current tasks or ongoing activity statuses.
