X user @itspdfu recently shared a fascinating video. This footage highlights the Quick Look feature on Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. Furthermore, the clip reveals an expansive dual-page layout when the device is fully unfolded.
Enhancing the Mobile Reading Experience
Reading PDFs on traditional iPhones offers a poor experience. Users must constantly pinch, zoom, and scroll to read small text. Therefore, many people prefer using an iPad for extensive document viewing. However, the foldable iPhone Duo promises to bridge this frustrating functional gap.
Versatile Display Options for Productivity
This new dual-page layout perfectly suits reading documents, browsing textbooks, and reviewing reports. Alternatively, the single-page mode utilizes the unfolded screen to provide a massive viewing area. Consequently, users can seamlessly switch display modes based on their current tasks and preferences.
Upcoming Apple Pencil Integration
Moreover, Apple will introduce Apple Pencil support for this foldable device later this year. Once this feature officially launches, the smartphone will fully support handwritten annotations and markups. Ultimately, it will become the very first iPhone to offer a complete and professional PDF workflow.
